Every place has a story to tell...what is ours?
Currently the Township of North Glengarry and the Township of South Glengarry are working together to explore the potential branding of Glengarry County. The Townships are developing a strategic communications plan where the main objective is to determine if stakeholders throughout the County of Glengarry are receptive to the idea of branding the County as the "Celtic Heartland of Canada". In order to do this, focus will be emphasized on elements such as our unique and distinctive features, public image, quality of life, style, and standards.
What do we mean by using the term "brand? The term 'brand" does not mean logo, it is much more than that:
"A brand is not a logo. A logo is a visual representation of a brand. A brand is rooted in what is great and unique about a city. Branding is a reflection about what your community is and why it should be recognized."
